Pastoral Training

The 1st Pastors' training session for 2021 is to start on 8th March after the planting season in February. Each session is 3 weeks long and is run in 5 different locations.

Pastors study 3 courses in each of the months of October, March and May. 

Hi from Pierre who was trained at Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College in Nairobi, Kenya who is developing the FECABu Bible Training programme.

He is keen to add a course in Entrepreneurship to help pastors set up small businesses to supplement their incomes from farming. Creative Solutions is currently paying him a small salary.

These rural pastors have arrive by bicycle. Creative Solutions is also paying the teachers at these courses, for which the students have to pay a small fee.

Many of the pastors only have Primary education. They are eager to study and learn how to interpret the Bible and how to preach and pastor their flocks. Creative Solutions has just sent money to buy each pastor a new Kirundi Bible. The old translation had become dated and rather difficult to understand. The new one will very much facititate undertstanding.

Some women's leaders are also keen to attend. There is a great hunger for God's Word in Burundi
