Some women are doing well but others could not meet with her because they are sick. She was able to distribute hoes to the women, putting by hoes for those who couldn’t be there.

The members of Turiwacu Kinama gave their heartfelt thanks for the hoes they received; with them, they will be able to find something to eat, as some live from growing food and will also use them in the rice field.

The cost of rice is 1400FBu per Kg; beans 1500FBu per Kg and corn flour 1000FBu per Kg. So, the total sum for the purchase of food and hoes to the members of Turiwacu Cabiza and Kinama is 490000FBu. There is no social security in Burundi and the women want to work but cannot when they are sick or do not have tools. 56000FBu was used for the purchase of fuel, loading and unloading of food and communications. The members of Turiwacu Cabiza, gave them their heartfelt thanks, asking that God bless you because you helped them when they were in very difficult circumstances, surrounded by famine and disease.
